While Benjamin dropped out during the summer of 2004, Joeri obtained his Sunday residency at La Rocca, playing together with friend and deejay icon Marko.His sets became more progressive and were enthusiastically received in national (Real, The Zoo, Pulse Factory, Café d’ Anvers, …) and international clubs (Folies Pigalle, Rex, Bar Du Port, Vip-Room, Ocean Club, Dreamers, …) as well as during outdoor festivals such as Solar, Bloomingdale, Dance Parade, Sonar, Tomorrowland and City Parade.His work has been played and approved around the world.Now he is signed to Funkerman’s label “Can You Feel It? This promising artist from the Diamond Capital of The World – Antwerp, started deejaying in the late 90s and quickly became one the most respected deejays of Belgium.Last year Joeri’s name appeared in the line up of jock stars such as: Dj Philip Michael Anderson, Dave Lambert, Dj Tofke, Tiësto, Wally Lopez, Sarah Main, David Guetta, Pole Folder, Danny Howells, Sasha, Eric Prydz, Felix Da Housecat, …
Inviting many international stars such as Martin Solveig and Dr.Philip Michael Andersson aka Dj Philip started his deejay career in 1989 as an all-round deejay, playing all kinds of music from new wave to reggae at local parties and holding two residencies at 2 local clubs. E, Regi, Peter Luts, Starfighter, Eduardo Delvino, etc.Then it grew bigger and bigger from clubs like Risco, Nut’s, Tomorrow, Karrewiel, etc. And making remixes for fellow producers Eric M (Depeche Mode’s Personal Jesus), Pole Folder, Oliver Moldan, Tiësto, Vincent the Moor, Quicksilver, etc.Destelbergen was known for the “Boccaccio Life”, the famous new beat temple in Belgium.Living that close to this extraordinary club changed his way of living: it’s the music that counts.
